Refresh - The Addiction of the Indie Author

I had to share this. Anyone who has published a book and distributed it on Amazon or Smashwords can relate to this.

Thanks to my Dad for finding this and passing it along!

Jim Devitt is the author of the #1 Kindle Bestselling Young Adult novel, The Card. He's also a healthcare consultant specializing in helping healthcare companies and practices develop a social media marketing platform, and maximize cash flow. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Thank you for your support throughout the year.

You have made this a special time in my life with the launch of my debut novel, The Card. It's been a roller coaster ride since April when the paper edition was launched. Shortly thereafter, the Kindle edition hit the online bookstores.

By July, The Card moved up to #15 on the Kindle bestseller list in its category. I have been amazed at the success we've had up to this point. July also marked the launch of the Nook, Sony, and iStore editions of the Van Stone novel.

As the year closes, I look forward to completing the next installment in the ongoing series in 2012. Thank you again for all your support, encouragement and great reviews.

I am now providing, THE CARD, for free to any person serving our country overseas. In conjunction with Smashwords, the distributor for most ebook formats, my book is now available to all military personnel and their dependents.

The program has over 500 authors that provide every genre available for free to our military personnel.

If you know of someone overseas that would enjoy THE CARD, have them contact me directly or have them go directly to the Operation Ebook Drop site right here to look through the library of books that are available. I can be contacted through that site under the posting for the Van Stone Novel.
