Author of the Week

This week, I'm being featured in the Author of the Week promotion at Full Moon Bites, check out the blog, Holly has done a great job. She will be posting a review of THE CARD sometime this week.

Thanks for all your support Holly!

Success at last!

THE CARD has been uploaded to Kindle and should be available for purchase in the next 24 hours. It has been  a long process, but well worth it in the end. Thanks to everyone that has worked so hard to make it possible.

I couldn't have done the Kindle conversion without the help of CJ's Easy as Pie Kindle Tutorials

That site is money and helped me tremendously. So for any other newbies out there, check out his site.

The Final Front Cover

The front cover is finished and it looks awesome! Thanks to Melissa Garcia-Devitt for the artwork. Yeah, she did the ball and stadium!!

Thanks to Marsha Rollinger for the graphic design and getting that pesky formula on the ball.

The back cover looks great, too.

We'll have the novel uploaded to Kindle soon.

Editing is so much fun

I have spent most of the day putting in a comma and the rest of the day taking it out.

We're getting close!

I just received the front cover artwork back, boy is it amazing. Special thanks to Melissa Garcia-Devitt for her artwork and Marsha Rollinger for her graphic design.

I'll get it posted as soon as I get a final copy so that everyone can see it. If anyone is interested in using my graphic designer, just send me an email and I'll get you connected.

The conversion process into the CreateSpace format took about four hours yesterday. There might be better ways to do it, but it was suggested that I rid my word file of all formatting and then paste it into the template provided. It was easy, it just took a long time. When I convert it to pdf, I'll report back.

Screeching to the beginning

This is the first in what I hope will be many blog posts. My adventure through the world of POD publishing and beyond commences for public eyes from this moment forward. The final proofread of my Van Stone novel is taking place as we speak.

While not an expert in the field, what you will get is an honest account of what is happening out there. What works, what doesn't work and all the stuff in between. Feel free to share with me what you're going through as well.

My goal is to help others through this process, like so many have helped me through the same. Most of those that have influenced me have no idea who I am. I'm sure that there will be plenty of you out there in the blogosphere that will fall into the same category.

So let's fasten that seat belt, hold on and launch!
